Open Horizon, Plathiena

A Semi abstract impression of Plathiena bay. Painted on location on my first artist residency in Milos, Greece.

Solid wood frame, hand-painted in white and Phthalocyanine Blue - as used in the artwork’s sea - finished with clear varnish

Begun on location during my Easter residency on Milos, I was inspired by the vivid turquoise sea and imposing volcanic cliffs
